Ambasadori amerikan ne Tirane, Aleksander Arvizu, u ka kujtuar edhe njëherë partive politike qe te bëjnë me shume për dialogun mes tyre. Gjate konferencës "Karta e Adriatikut, integrimi dhe sfidat e Ballkanit Perëndimor", diplomati i larte tha se parlamenti ka një rol te rëndësishëm për te arritur kompromisin.
Deklarata e ambasadorit amerikan vjen ne kohen kur pozita dhe opozita janë ende larg bashkëpunimit, si për reformën elektorale, ashtu dhe për atë parlamentare. Ndërkohë qe mbetet ende pa një zgjidhje kalimi i ligjeve qe kërkojnë shumice te cilësuar te votave. Ndërkohë duke folur në këtë konferencë, kryeministri Berisha theksoi se mbështetja e NATO-s ka qenë e rëndësishme edhe për Kosovën. Kreu i qeverise deklaroi se Kosova, në disa prej aspekteve të bashkëpunimit, është "de facto" anëtare e NATO-s. Megjithëse nuk është anëtare e Kartës se Adriatikut, ishte e ftuar edhe Serbia si vend i rajonit, por Beogradi zyrtar nuk ka zgjedhur te përfaqësohet ne tryeze.
