Today, Monday 26th July Kidz R Us has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Arts Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them.
Located in an old chapel in the centre of St. Ives, Kidz R Us is a theatre and performing arts group for children in and around the local community. The group aims to provide accessible, year-round entertainment in musical theatre and drama for local residents and visitors, encouraging children from all backgrounds to take part.
