Little Haven's Children's Hospice has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Voluntary/Charity Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them.
Little Havens Children’s Hospice in Essex provides respite breaks and end-of-life care for children and teenagers living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, aiming to make their journey as comfortable and special as possible. It also works with their families, providing support, and bereavement services.
