Çdo dite te vitit ndihen te harruar dhe te braktisur ndaj periudhën e zgjedhjeve e shohin si shpëtim për shlyerjen e borxheve apo sigurimin e ushqimeve për një muaj. Përfaqësues te komunitetit rom dhe egjiptian ne qarkun e Korçës pranojnë hapur, se vota e tyre blihet ne këmbim te pagesës se listës se gjate te borxheve. Ymer Ganolli, babai i 12 fëmijëve tregon se çdo periudhe parazgjedhore i premtohet nga kandidatet pune dhe strehim, por asnjë nga këto nuk është realizuar. I papune dhe i pastrehe, ai ka vendosur qe votën e tij ta shesë për te ushqyer fëmijët. Kryetari i këtij komuniteti pranon se harresa ndaj kësaj kategorie i ka detyruar rreth 20 mije votues rome, qe votën ta përdorin si forme mbijetese. Ne qytetin e Korçës janë rreth 80 mije votues ku 20 mije prej tyre janë përfaqësues te komunitetit rom dhe egjiptian.
