After the Tapovan tragedy, the SDRF and team of scientists have reached the waterlogged area in the lake built in the Himalayan region. In this area, the team has been camping near the lake for the last three days. The objective of the scientific team is to assess and resolve the threat posed by the lake. Commandant Navneet Bhullar told that to reduce the pressure of the lake, the first 6 feet mouth was opened and now it has been opened up to about 30 feet so that the water of the lake can drain out. Because of this, the pressure of water is also decreasing on the side wall of the lake

तपोवन त्रासदी के बाद हिमालयी क्षेत्र में बनी झील में एसडीआरएफ और वैज्ञानिकों की टीम जलभराव वाले क्षेत्र में पहुंची है. इस इलाके में टीम पिछले तीन दिनों से झील के करीब ही कैम्पिंग कर रही है. वैज्ञानिक दल का मकसद झील से उत्पन्न खतरे का आकलन करना और उसका समाधान करना है. कमांडेंट नवनीत भुल्लर ने बताया कि झील के प्रेशर को कम करने के लिए पहले 6 फीट मुहाने को खोला गया था और अब लगभग 30 फ़ीट के करीब तक खोल दिया गया है ताकि झील का पानी बाहर निकल सके. इसकी वजह से झील की साइड वाल पर भी पानी का दवाब कम हो रहा है.
