The destruction of the glacier in Chamoli in Uttarakhand has caused more than a week of destruction. Rescue operation has been going on continuously since the last 9 days. So far 53 deaths have been confirmed in this disaster. On Sunday, on the eighth day of rescue operations being carried out in disaster-hit areas, 15 more bodies have been found. Some of these bodies have been taken out of Tapovan Tunnel.

उत्तराखंड के चमोली में ग्लेशियर टूटने से मची तबाही को एक हफ्ते ज्यादा हो गया है. पिछले 9 दिन से ही रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन लगातार जारी है. इस आपदा में अब तक 53 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हो चुकी है. आपदाग्रस्त क्षेत्रों में चलाए जा रहे बचाव अभियान के आठवें दिन रविवार को 15 और शव मिले हैं. इनमें कुछ शव तपोवन टनल से बाहर निकाले गए हैं.
