Chamoli Glacier Burst: villages around Chamoli are not threatened, water level is decreasing. The destruction of the glacier in the core zone of Nanda Devi National Park in Chamoli, Uttarakhand created havoc. According to reports, the dam of the Rishi Ganga Tapovan Hydro Project near Raini village broke. A flood-like situation has arisen due to the breaking of the glacier.

उत्‍तराखंड के चमोली में नंदा देवी नेशनल पार्क के कोर जोन में स्थित ग्लेशियर टूटने से तबाही मच गई. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, रैनी गांव के पास ऋषि गंगा तपोवन हाइड्रो प्रोजेक्ट का बांध टूट गया. ग्लेशियर टूटने से बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति पैदा हो गई है.
