Tagine Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken ½ kg
Oil 4 tbsp
Onions (sliced) 3 medium
Cinnamon stick 1
Black olives 3 tbsp
Green olives 3 tbsp
Dry lemons 2 small
Chicken stock 1 cup
Chopped parsley 1 tbsp
For Tagine seasoning:
Chili powder 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Lemon zest 1 tsp
Ground cumin 1 tsp
Garlic powder ½ tsp
Onion powder ½ tsp
Ground coriander 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1/8 tsp
Method:
Mix all tagine seasoning ingredients. Then marinate chicken with all spices. Now heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and remove. Then saute onion in same oil then add cinnamon, chicken and chicken stock and cook. Then add black olives, green olives, parsley, lemon and serve.
Chocolate Soufflé
Ingredients:
Softened butter (for greasing) 1 tbsp
Eggs (separated) 2
Chocolate spread ½ cup
Ingredients for toppings:
Powdered sugar as required
Cherries as required
Method:
Pre heat oven on 200 C. Beat egg whites first. Mix egg yolks with chocolate spread. Now gradually fold both mixtures. Grease ramekins with butter and add this mixture to ramekins and bake them for 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish with sugar and cherries and serve.
