Restaurant Style Ginger Chicken:
Ingredients:
Chicken 700gm
Oil ½ cup
Yogurt ½ cup
Julienned ginger 2 tbsp
Green chili paste 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Onion 1cup
Ginger powder ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Boil onion and mash it. Then mix all ingredients except ginger powder in yogurt. Heat oil and cook yogurt masala in it. When oil comes up then add chicken and cook till it gets tender. When it gets half done then add boiled mashed onion and cook till oil comes up. Then add ginger powder and serve.
Aalu Masala Biryani:
Ingredients:
Potatoes ½ kg
Oil ½ cup
Fried onion ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Whole all spice 2 tbsp
Tomatoes 3
Red chili powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1tbsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Star anise 3-4
Lemon slices 5-6
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Mint leaves ¼ cup
Fresh coriander ¼ cup
Green chilies 3-4
Boiled rice ½ kg
Yellow food color ¼ tsp
Screw pine essence ½ tsp
Method:
Mix yellow food color in yogurt. Now heat oil adds whole all spice, ginger garlic paste and fry potatoes in it. Then add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt with ½ cup water and tomatoes and cook gravy well. Now give rice layer with masala and add colored yogurt, lemon slices, screw pine essence, nutmeg mace powder, mint leaves, fresh coriander, and green chilies and let it simmer. Then serve.
