Firefighters battled a 1,350-acre fire in the Plumas National Forest near Quincy, California, on Monday, July 31.

The fire was contained by 20 percent on Tuesday morning. Firefighting efforts were momentarily set back when a drone was observed near Spanish Creek on Sunday night, causing aircraft to be grounded, according to the US Forest Service.
