A fatality was reported from the fast-growing Klamathon Fire in northern California, which stood at 8,000-acres on July 6.
Cal Fire and the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death, but no further details were released.
The Klamathon Fire started on July 5 near Hornbook, California, a town 14 miles south of the Oregon border, according to KSBY.
Cal Fire reported the fire was five-percent contained on July 6.
