Smoke clouds from a series of wildfires poured into the skies over southern British Columbia during the weekend of July 8 and 9.
This footage, taken near British Columbia’s McLeese Lake, shows a glimpse of the heavy smoke.
The wildfires were still burning at time of publication, aggravated by high humidity and a lack of rainfall in the province. CBC News reported that 220 fires in total were burning across British Columbia and over 14,000 people had been displaced. Credit: YouTube/Curtis Brodland via Storyful
