This video was taken from Spurlock Park in the Idylwood neighborhood of Houston. The tree can be seen nearly split, with debris on the ground. The uploader says in the video he saw the lightning strike the tree.

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Bellaire, Texas, on Wednesday. The tornado was given an EF-1 rating, with witnesses reporting swirling debris and a funnel cloud that touched down near the Azalea Place apartment complex.
