Pavarësisht se konsiderohen nga drejtoria e Përgjithshme e Shërbimeve te Transportit Rrugor si debitore, krerët e shtetit dhe politikanet e konsiderojnë te pasakte listën e publikuar nga kjo drejtori. Presidenti i Republikës Bujar Nishani ka publikuar ne faqen zyrtare nje përgënjeshtrim ndaj drejtorisë se Transportit, duke deklaruar se taksat i ka paguar ne mënyrë te rregullt. Edhe kryetarja e Kuvendit Jozefina Topalli, nëpërmjet zedheneses ka sqaruar se edhe pse me nje vonese te vogël ne kohe taksat jane paguar. Të dhënat e Drejtorisë së Transportit Rrugor jane përgënjeshtruar edhe nga deputeti socialist Eduard Shalsi, i cili sipas listës nuk i paguan taksat për automjetin e tij që prej vitit 2003. Për Vizion Plus deputeti Shalsi ka sqaruar se ai e ka shitur makinën qe nga ai vit. I vetmi politikan i cili nuk ka kontestuar listat e drejtorisë qe varen nga ministria e tij ka qene ministri i Transporteve Sokol Olldashi, i cili ka kërkuar ndjese publike dhe ka sqaruar se detyrimi i papaguar eshte vetem per 2012, per shkak te nje pakujdesie njerëzore. Ne nje sqarim per mediat ministri Olldashi ka deklaruar se pagesa është shlyer gjate ditës se sotme. Lista e personave qe nuk kane paguar taksat e makinave përfshin edhe ministrat Bode, Bumçi e Vangjel Tavo, si dhe 18 deputetë të maxhorancës dhe 26 deputetë të opozitës.
