Opozita në Prishtinë i përgjigjet negativisht thirrjeve që vijnë nga qeveria dhe partia më e madhe në pushtet për formimin e një ekipi të unitetit para nisjes se bisedimeve dhe takimeve në nivele të larta politike me Serbinë.
Përfaqësuesit e opozitës i shohin këto thirrje të kreut të qeverisë si përpjekje për shpërndarjen e përgjegjësisë pas bisedimeve teknike, të cilat, sipas opozitës, i sollën vetëm dëme Kosovës. Shefi i Grupit më të madh parlamentar opozitar në Kuvend, atij të Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, Ismet Beqiri, thotë se LDK-ja nuk do të jetë pjesë e planeve të kryeministrit Hashim Thaçi për bisedimet e ardhshme eventuale me Beogradin zyrtar. Partitë opozitare i kane kujtuar kryeministrit Thaçi se bisedimet politike me Serbinë kanë përfunduar me negociatat e Vjenës. Nënkryetari i Aleancës për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës, Ahmet Isufi, thotë se me veprimet e saj qeveria aktuale i ka bërë dëme Kosovës me procesin e deritanishëm të bisedimeve. Qëndrimin me radikal kundër bisedimeve e ka mbajtur ne mënyrë te vazhdueshme lëvizja vetëvendosje e Albin Kurtit.
