Ambasadorja e Gjermanisë ne Shqipëri, Carola Holtkepmer, i ka kërkuar kryeministrit Sali Berisha rishikimin e skemës për rimbursimin e tatimit mbi vlerën e shtuar, një nga problemet me te mprehta për biznesin vendas dhe te huaj. Këtë kërkesë ajo e beri gjate një forumi ekonomik me sipërmarrës gjermane, te cilët e konsiderojnë këtë çështje si një pengese ne punën e përditshme. Qeveria është borxhlie ndaj biznesit, duke mos i kthyer ne kohe paratë kompanive, një tregues ky qe i ve ne vështirësi financiar. "Shume biznese gjermane janë te kënaqur me qeverinë shqiptare dhe te sigurt ne treg. Edhe pse kane ndjere efekte e krizës, një pjese e tyre mendojnë se aktiviteti ekonomik do te përmirësohet me tej duke rritur punësimin. Ajo çka nevojitet është përmirësimi i kuadrit ligjor, lufta kundër korrupsionit dhe krimit te organizuar, si dhe rishikimi i rimbursimit te tatimit mbi vlerën e shtuar," u shpreh Holtkemper. Por ndonëse nuk ka dhënë një përgjigje konkrete për këtë shqetësim, kryeministri Berisha ne fjalën e tij u ndal tek reduktimi i burokracive, për ti krijuar biznesit ambientin e duhur ekonomik. Me tej edhe ne mbledhjen e qeverise, kryeministri u fokusua tek rritja ekonomike dhe përballimi i krizës. Muajt e pare te këtij viti kane demonstruar një situate te vështirë ekonomike, tatimi mbi fitimin për biznesin ka rezultuar me rënie te theksuar, çka tregon për një aktivitet ekonomik qe po ecën me ritme aspak te kënaqshme.
