Kompania e shpërndarjes se energjisë "CEZ", parashikohet te humbëse 514 milion dollarë, për tre viteve investime, qe ka kryer ne Shqipëri. Një raport i agjencisë se lajmeve Bloomberg, qe i referohet një gazete çeke, sqaron se një fakt i tille është bere i ditur ne raportet vjetore te kompanisë çeke "CEZ". Shkrimi i agjencisë argumenton, se humbja do te vije si pasoje e faktit se enti rregullator ne Shqipëri ka rritur çmimin me te cilin "CEZ" blen energjinë ndaj korporatës elektroenergjitike, por nuk rrit tarifat për konsumatoret. Ky fakt pritet te rendoje financat e kompanisë, e cila, thuhet se ka kryer miliona euro investime ne rrjetin energjetik shqiptar. Por marrëdhëniet e kompanisë me qeverinë duken te vështira, pasi qe nga koha e privatizimit shteti i kishte "CEZ"-it mbi 60 milion euro detyrime te papaguara. Ky fakt futi ne një spirale borxhesh te tre kompanitë energjetike, "CEZ", "KESH" dhe "OST". Por qeveria u detyrua qe te nise shlyerjen e detyrimeve ndaj "CEZ"-it, edhe pas presionit qe kryeministri çek beri gjate një vizite te posaçme ne Tirane, ndërsa nga ana tjetër është ende ne faze shqyrtimi rishikimi i çmimit te energjisë me te cilin "CEZ" i blen energji KESH-it. Ky çmim parashikohet te ulet, duke i sjelle me shume fitime "CEZ"-it. Deri me tani, qeveria ka shmangur rritjen e çmimit te energjisë për konsumatoret, për shkak te kostos politike, por nga ana tjetër shqiptaret e paguajnë energjinë me shtrenjtë, se çdo vend tjetër ne rajon.
