Fale një aksioni te shpejte ne orët e para te mëngjesit, ushtaret e KFOR-it kane hequr barrikadat e serbeve ne piken kufitare te Bernjakut. Ata kane larguar pengesat me kamionë te rende dhe pajisje te tjera, duke hedhur drunjte e masivin e dheut ne dy anët e rrugës ose ne ara. Sikurse shkruajnë mediat vendase, ne këtë aksion kane marre pjese shume trupa te KFOR-it, ndërsa ne radhët e serbeve nuk ka pasur asnjë rezistence. Ky aksion i KFOR u parapri nga një deklarate e sekretarit te përgjithshëm te NATO-s, Anders Fog Rasmusen, i cili ka deklaruar se nuk do te toleroje asnjë situate tensioni ne veri te Kosovës. Gjendjes aktuale ne veri, i ka kushtuar një artikull edhe prestigjiozja the ekonomist e cila shkruan se Serbia e ka humbur kontrollin ne veriun e vendit. Ne këtë shkrim thuhet se heqja e bllokadave mbete vetëm çështje kohe.
