Kreu i Bashkise se Fierit Baftjar Zeqaj kërkon ndërhyrjen e ambasadorit amerikan, atij te OSBE dhe BE, për zgjidhjen e ngërçit te krijuar ne këshillin bashkiak, duke akuzuar prefektin si përgjegjësin kryesor.
Sipas Zeqajt, prefekti Bujar Hasaj po synon te ngjyrose blu Fierin, pa pyetur për votën e qytetareve. Reagimi i Zeqajt vjen dy jave pas mbledhjes ku dy këshilltarë te majte dolën kundër, duke vendosur ne krye te institucionit anëtarët e djathte. Hasaj akuzon kryebashkiakun për tejkalim kompetencash gjate mbledhjes se këshillit te qarkut, madje thotë se ka depozituar një padi ne gjykate. Nga ana tjetër, edhe bashkia i është drejtuar gjykatës, për te shpallur te paligjshme mbledhjen e fundit dhe vendimet e këshillit bashkiak. Për shkak te mosmarrëveshjeve ne këshillin bashkiak, Fieri është prej dy vjetësh pa buxhet.
