To those who are trying to make sense of their life's choices

A dense, gray fog rolled in last night
At first it seemed an awful fright
But as I walked in the cool, gray mists
A certain stillness unclenched my fists

This cool, gray fog was such a sight
I walked throughout it into the night
A certain feeling of tranquility
Seemed to surround and penetrate me

As I wandered throughout its expanse
It must have put me in a trance
It really helped to clear my mind
Of things I'd thought that weren't so kind

As I look back with great delight
I sense the beauty of its dim light
And hope that I one day can share
The peace of mind my soul did bear
