Mother dear we are here, We feel you left too soon,
Our hearts are full of memories, Of you, your love, and tunes,
You think that you have failed somehow, You know this isn't so,
You see we're all together now, And this is how we'll show.
We wish we could say so much more, But you have gone your way.
To talk to you from this day forth, We now will have to pray,
We know you are in heaven, For God has promised this,
But just the same it hurts so much, We missed that one last kiss.
And now you see we'll have to go, Our eyes are getting wet,
It's hard to holdback all our tears, When love becomes a debt,
We didn't always show our love, That seems so hard but true,
But listen now in retrospect, Our prayers will now come through.
