A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Into the Halls of Valhalla created by the ItHoV Team in 2006 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

The GNG Base was evacuated right before the appearance of the SD Horror. But the problems are not over yet, of course. Because there are other locations that are attacked by shivan forces. The Tania Australis shipyard for example. We are being scrambeled to defend it against a shivan attack. But also there is also still one of our corvettes within the dock and we have to protect it until it is able to jump away!
Hints:
You do not have any command authority in this mission, which make this mission somewhat harder.
At the beginning, approach and attack the Lilith cruiser right away, your wingmates are following and will support you in this attack to bring it down quickly.
After that, approach the other two shivan cruiser to safe both Ganymed Installation. Do not care if the shivans are able to destroy one of them, because you can not prevent it anyway during the mission. But prevent that the shivans are able to kill both of them before the SD Horror arrives and also protect the GTCv Nessuno at all costs until it is able to jump out. So destroy the cruisers first and then eliminate the fighters.
The Shivans will send waves of enemy fighters to attack the shipyard, together with your wingmates you should not have big trouble to safe at least one of them.
But in the end it is a useless task, because the SD Horror arrives and will finish off the shipyard.
The Mission will end automatically after your wingman deserted into a red alert.
Despite this fact do not care about your hull and weapon status, because you will begin the next mission fully repaired and equipped.
