A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Into the Halls of Valhalla created by the ItHoV Team in 2006 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

The Privateer was able to escape, and the Pirates still cause trouble in this system. Now they are attacking the civilian cruise liner GNG Imperius Galactic, a modified Hippocrates medical cruiser. Because it is our first priority to protect civilians, we are ordered to cover this ship and to repel all Pirate attacks.
Hints:
You can not choose your loadout in this mission.
Right after the Beginning of the Mission, hit your burners and ignore every enemy fighter and bring down the PRT Blue River as fast as possible. It should go down rather quick, because some of your wingmates are equipped with very helpful Maxim cannons, which are devastating on unshielded ships.
After the Pirate transport is down, attack and kill the remaining Loki fighters and attack every incoming enemy fighterwing on sight right away. Only with the exception of incoming Bomber wings, because these should be always your highest prriority in this mission.
Also ignore the PRC Cannonade at first and continue your killing spree against fighters and bombers. Wait for the GTCv Rapier and after all fighters are down, assist it in the destruction of the Galleon corvette.
After this ship is down, your task is to wait until you get the order to destroy the GNG Imperius Galactic all by yourself. If you want to earn the kill, order your wingmates to ignore this ship and bring it down with the help of the Rapier. Now wait for the departure of the GTT Jealous and GTCv Rapier to end this mission successfully.
