Crystal clear morning
ice on the air
cloudy mountain horizon
awakening

frosty fingertips
of a maple's reach
balancing along
meringue peaks

cleansing each breathe
hand upon my face
this part i like best
air

forgotten fondness arriving here
impatient journey to this point
days' fire burns everywhere
