The state of Maharasthra is reeling under worst drought but it seems that the politicians are busy making money totally ignoring the plight of millions of suffering farmers. Activist Medha Patkar has alleged that payoff were made to politicians including the Deputy CM Ajit Pawar of getting kickbacks from contractors for irrigation contracts. Maharasthra Chief minister however has denied all allegations...saying that he isn't aware of the issue.
