Three days after NCP leader Ajit Pawar's switch helped the BJP's Devendra Fadnavis pull off a stunning comeback to power in Maharashtra, investigation has been closed into some cases linked to the irrigation scam in which he is an accused. ACB senior officer Parambir Singh to news agency ANI Said We are investigating around 3,000 tenders in irrigation-related complaints. These are routine inquiries which are closed and all ongoing investigations are continuing. Maharashtra ACB DG, Parambir Singh said In none of the 9 inquiries that have been closed today, name of Ajit Pawar is figured. No irregularities were found in these 9 inquiries. These are routine inquiries.

बीजेपी के साथ मिलकर सरकार बनाने के 48 घंटे के बाद एनसीपी के नेता और महाराष्ट्र के डिप्टी सीएम अजित पवार को सिंचाई घोटाले में बड़ी राहत मिल गई है। अजित पवार के खिलाफ सिंचाई घोटाले से जुड़े 9 मामलों को बंद कर दिया गया है। एसीबी सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सबूतों के अभाव में 9 मामलों को बंद किया गया है। ACB सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सिंचाई घोटाले से जुड़े क़रीब तीन हज़ार प्रोजेक्ट जांच के घेरे में हैं और इनमें से 9 मामलों को सबूतों के अभाव में बंद कर दिया गया है। अभी तक जिन प्रोजेक्ट की जांच की गई है, उनमें ACB को अजित पवार के खिलाफ कुछ भी नहीं मिला है।
