A accident with injuries around 10 AM, had first responders searching, first on Mountain road in front of Canadian Tire at Mapleton where the old Jean Coutu was and then further towards Magnetic Hill at Lonsdale in front of the Tim Hortons and the newer Jean Coutu drug store. Paramedics had one person on the ground putting a neck brace on and was transported to hospital. The Firefighters were dealing with the leakage from the vehicles and helping the injured. Codiac RCMP were on scene and 2 lanes of 4 lane Mountain road was blocked for almost a hour. Another ambulance was needed , along with 2 tow trucks to clear the accident scene. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident. Have shot many accidents when people try crossing 2 lanes of traffic, after leaving drive thru.
