Newly-elected Speaker Rahul Narvekar has recognised Eknath Shinde as a member of Shiv Sena, this establishes Eknath Shinde's presence in the party. This comes as another blow for Uddhav Thackeray. 

A floor test for the Shinde government is due today, this will decide Shinde's government structure and layout, garnering a full trust acceptance.
