It is being speculated that Eknath Shinde will branch out from Shiv Sena and make a new party with his group of rebel MLAs. It is theorized that by doing this Eknath Shinde will be able to form a coalition party with the BJP in Maharashtra.

The Maharashtra Political crisis began when Eknath Shinde, a prominent Shiv Sena leader stormed off to Guwahati after an argument. He was against the cross-voting that took place in the Maharashtra MLC elections. He took a group of rebel MLAs with him, which has put the current Shiv Sena government at risk.
