Ganga Dussehra 2022: On 9th June i.e. today the festival of Ganga Dussehra is being celebrated. There is a law to celebrate Ganga Dussehra on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. The special significance of Ganga Dussehra has been told in Hinduism. According to the scriptures, on this day Mother Ganga had descended on the earth. It is believed that taking a dip in the river Ganges on this auspicious date gets rid of all kinds of sins.
