The second phase of the Indian Premier League is going to start in UAE from September 19, for which teams have now started reaching Dubai. Now that there is only 1 month left for this league to start, in such a situation, the star opener of the Indian women's team, Smriti Mandhana, has expressed her displeasure with the BCCI. Giving opinion to BCCI, Mandhana said that they should also start women's IPL as it will strengthen the bench strength of women's cricket.If Mandhana is to be believed, India's players at the domestic level have started improving since they started playing this league. Something similar can happen in women's cricket as well.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग का दूसरा फेज़ 19 सितम्बर से UAE में शुरू होने जा रहा है, जिसके लिए अब टीम्स ने दुबई पोहोचना शुरू कर दिया है। अब जब इस लीग को शुरू होने में 1 महीने का ही वक़्त बचा है तो ऐसे में भारतीय महिला टीम की स्टार सलामी बल्लेबाज़ स्मृति मंधना ने BCCI से नाराज़गी जताते हुए अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त की है। मंधना ने BCCI को राय देते हुए कहा की उन्हें महिला आईपीएल भी शुरू करना चाहिए क्युकी इससे महिला क्रिकेट की बेंच स्ट्रेंथ मज़बूत होगी।मंधाना की माने तो घरेलू स्तर पर भारत की के खिलाड़ियों में तब से सुधर आना शुरू हुआ है जब से उन्होंने इस लीग को खेलना शुरू किया है। महिला क्रिकेट में भी ऐसा ही कुछ हो सकता है।
