The Supreme Court has rejected the petition challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election from Varanasi. The Supreme Court has upheld the Allahabad High Court's decision, rejecting the petition of Tej Bahadur, a former BSF jawan. A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde of the Supreme Court has pronounced this decision.

BSF के पूर्व जवान तेज बहादुर की याचिका को खारिज करते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट के फैसले को बरकरार रखा है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस एस ए बोबडे की अध्यक्षता वाली तीन सदस्यीय बेंच ने ये फैसला सुनाया है.
