In this video, we had an interview with J. C. D. Prabhakar who is an Indian politician and was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Villivakkam constituency in Chennai District. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. Edappadi K. Palaniswami will be the ruling AIADMK’s candidate for the post of Chief Minister for the upcoming 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

Deputy Chief Minister and party coordinator O. Pannerselvam announced this at the party headquarters on Wednesday morning in the presence of senior leaders and Ministers ending the unease within the party over the issue since August 15. The party also came under criticism for not naming a single woman in the Steering Committee with people reminding the AIADMK leadership that the outfit was led by a woman, J Jayalalithaa, for nearly three decades. The members of the Steering Committee s yet to be announced, the panel is expected to play a major role in taking key decisions on alliance and election-related issues. With six of his colleagues in the panel, Palaniswami will have a larger say in decisions.

Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam, whose Dharma Yudhham led to the formation of the Justice (retd) A Arumughaswamy commission to probe former chief minister Jayalalithaa's death, O Panneerselvam didn't appear in Commission.
