Army Chief General MM Naravane visited Jammu and Kashmir on Monday amid frequent ceasefire violations by Pakistan. The army chief visited the forward areas near the international border in Jammu-Pathankot region and reviewed the preparedness of the deployed Indian troops. During this, the military commanders informed him of the ground situation.

पाकिस्तान की ओर से लगातार किए जा रहे सीजफायर के उल्लंघन के बीच सेना प्रमुख जनरल एम एम नरवणे ने सोमवार को जम्मू कश्मीर का दौरा किया. सेना प्रमुख ने जम्मू-पठानकोट रीजन में अंतराष्ट्रीय सीमा के पास अग्रिम इलाकों का दौरा किया और तैनात भारतीय सैनिकों की तैयारियों का जायजा लिया. इस दौरान सैन्य कमांडरों ने उन्हें जमीनी हालात की जानकारी दी।
