Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narawane visited the Siachen base camp today morning. This was his maiden visit to any forward post after assuming the charge of Army Chief. The Army Chief later laid a wreath in the memory of martyrs as he paid homage at the Siachen War Memorial.
