Mumbai and its adjoining areas have received moderate to heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours. The India Meteorological Department said on Tuesday that there could be intermittent heavy rainfall in the coming days. Matheran in Raigad district of Maharashtra recorded 93.4 mm of rain in the last 24 hours as of 8.30 am, while Thane-Belapur Industrial Union Observatory recorded 74 mm of rain. The Santacruz Meteorological Center, a western suburb of Mumbai, recorded 30.2 mm of rainfall during this period.

मुम्बई और इसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में पिछले 24 घंटे में मध्यम से भारी बारिश हुई है।भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने मंगलवार को बताया कि आने वाले दिनों में इन इलाकों में रुक-रुक कर भारी बारिश हो सकती है। महाराष्ट्र के रायगढ़ जिले में माथेरन में सुबह साढ़े आठ बजे के अनुसार पिछले 24 घंटे में 93.4 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई जबकि ठाणे-बेलापुर औद्योगिक संघ वेधशाला में 74 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। मुंबई के पश्चिमी उपनगर सांताक्रूज़ मौसम केन्द्र ने इस अवधि में 30.2 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की।
