Indian Railways has prepared such a very cheap ventilator in the country amid the rising outbreak of Coronavirus, which can be useful in saving thousands of lives. This cheap ventilator is named 'Jeevan' and has been developed by the Kapurthala Rail Box Factory. Although this ventilator cannot be used yet, it has not yet received approval from ICMR. Approval is being awaited from ICMR.

भारतीय रेलवे ने देश में कोरोना वायरस के बढ़ते प्रकोप के बीच एक ऐसा बेहद सस्ता वेंटिलेटर तैयार किया है, जो हजारों लोगों की जान बचाने में उपयोगी हो सकता है. इस सस्ते वेंटिलेटर को ‘जीवन' नाम दिया गया है और इसे कपूरथला रेल डिब्बा कारखाना ने विकसित किया है. हालांकि इस वेंटिलेटर का अभी इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जा सकता, इसको अभी आईसीएमआर से मंजूरी नहीं मिली है. आईसीएमआर से मंजूरी का इंतजार किया जा रहा है.
