On 16 December 2012, the incident of gangrape inside a moving bus in Delhi forced the whole country to wonder whether the common atrocities on women have become common in this country. On the very next day of the incident there were demonstrations all over the country. The gruesome manner in which this incident was carried out, from the very first day the demand to hang its culprits had started.

16 दिसंबर 2012 को दिल्ली में एक चलती बस के अंदर हुई गैंगरेप की घटना ने पूरे देश को सोचने के लिए मजबूर था कि क्या इस देश में महिलाओं को पर आम अत्याचार अब आम बात हो गई है. घटना के अगले ही दिन पूरे देश में प्रदर्शन हो चुके थे. जिस वीभत्स तरीके से इस घटना को अंजाम दिया गया था, पहले ही दिन से इसके दोषियों को फांसी देने की मांग शुरू हो चुकी थी.
