Supreme Court dismissed one of the convicts of 2012 Delhi gangrape case, Pawan Gupta’s curative petition on March 02, a day before scheduled hanging of the four convicts. The petition had sought commutation of his death penalty to life imprisonment. Speaking on it to media persons, Singh said, “This is the country that saw Nithari Kand where innocent kids were killed, accused Surinder Koli is alive.

निर्भया गैंगरेप केस के चारों दोषियों को फांसी की सजा पर रोक लगाने से पटियाला हाउस कोर्ट ने इनकार कर दिया है। मंगलवार सुबह 6 बजे इनको फांसी होनी है। वहीं सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पवन गुप्ता की क्यूरेटिव और मंगलवार को फांसी रोकने वाली याचिका भी खारिज कर दी है। इसके साथ ही फांसी नजदीक देखते ही दोषियों के वकील ए पी सिंह ने सवाल उठाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जेसिका लाल और निठारी के हत्यारों को फांसी नहीं दी गई तो निर्भया के दोषियों को फांसी क्यों दी जा रही है।
