Amid the protests taking place across the country, the Supreme Court will hear a total of 144 petitions filed today in support of and against the Citizenship Amendment Act. In this, 143 petitions are against the law. These petitions have sought to declare the CAA unconstitutional. The bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justice Abdul Nazir, Justice Sanjeev Khanna will hear these petitions.

देशभर में हो रहे विरोध-प्रदर्शनों के बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट आज नागरिकता संशोधन कानून यानी सीएए के खिलाफ और समर्थन में दायर कुल 144 याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करेगा। इसमें 143 याचिकाएं कानून के विरोध में है. इन याचिकाओं में सीएए को असंवैधानिक करार देने की मांग की गई है. चीफ जस्टिस एसए बोबडे, जस्टिस अब्दुल नजीर, जस्टिस संजीव खन्ना की बेंच इन याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करेगी.
