The Central Government has got relief from the Supreme Court regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. The Supreme Court, while hearing the petitions filed against the CAA, has refused to stay the law. Along with this, the court has indicated to send the case to the constitutional bench. The constitutional bench can hear the petitions filed by the CAA. At the same time, the Supreme Court has sought an answer from the government in four weeks.

नागरिकता संशोधन कानून को लेकर केंद्र सरकार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट से राहत मिली है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सीएए के खिलाफ दायर याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करते हुए कानून पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया है. इसके साथ ही कोर्ट ने मामले को संवैधानिक पीठ को भेजने के संकेत दिए हैं. सीएए पर दायर याचिकाओं पर संवैधानिक पीठ सुनवाई कर सकती है. वहीं सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने चार हफ्ते में सरकार से मामले पर जवाब मांगा है.
