Citizenship Act: Supreme Court issues notice to Modi government, next hearing on January 22. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Central Government on the Citizenship Amendment Act. However, the Supreme Court has refused to ban this law at present. The next hearing in this case will be on 22 January. 59 petitions were filed in the Supreme Court regarding Citizenship Amendment Act.

नागरिकता संशोधन कानून पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया है. हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस कानून पर फिलहाल रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया है. इस मामले में अगली सुनवाई 22 जनवरी को होगी. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सिटीजनशिप अमेंडमेंट एक्ट को लेकर 59 याचिकाएं दाखिल की गई थीं.
