Modi government may consider drafting of the Citizenship Amendment Act amid widespread protests across the country against the citizenship law. According to the Home Ministry sources, if the law comes into force, then the situation may get worse, so its draft will be reconsidered. According to PTI Official said Anyone born in India before 1987 or whose parents were born before 1987 is a bona fide Indian citizen according to law; no need to worry due to Citizenship Amendment Act or possible countrywide NRC

नागरिकता कानून के खिलाफ देशभर में जारी व्यापक विरोध-प्रदर्शन के बीच गृह मंत्रालय नागरिकता कानून के ड्राफ्ट पर विचार कर सकती है। गृह मंत्रालय के सूत्रों के मुताबिक अगर कानून लागू हुआ तो हालात और खराब हो सकते हैं, ऐसे में इसके ड्राफ्ट पर फिर से विचार किया जाएगा।
