E-hailing motorcycle taxi service may be available in Malaysia soon, as Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman is set to discuss the matter in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Syed Saddiq said the service will create more jobs for Malaysian youths.

In 2017, the previous cabinet agreed with the Transport Ministry ban on e-hailing Dego Ride motorcycle taxi service due to safety concerns.

Syed Saddiq pointed out how the previous government's move left many unemployed.
