Good morning, central regions saw some unexpected snowfall this morning. The mix of rain and snow is forecast to let up in the morning hours... but southern provinces and Jeju Island will see another round of somewhat heavy snow and rain on Friday morning.
Temperature-wise, readings this afternoon are a few notches higher than yesterday. Daily highs in many regions will be in the upper single digits.
Today's highs might be bearable but get ready for some icy gusts with freezing air. Sub-zero air from the Arctic will start to spill across Korea this evening, so dress warm if you plan to head home later than usual... with an expected low of minus 9 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
It will turn colder across the entire country as we head into the weekend. Saturday seems to be the coldest with lows dropping to minus 11 degrees... and we will have to wait until next Tuesday to see readings rebound to seasonal averages.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
