Vijayadashami also known as Dasara, Dusshera or Dussehra is a major Hindu festival celebrated at the end of Navratri every year. It is observed on the tenth day in the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin, the seventh month of the Hindu Luni-Solar Calendar, which typically falls in the Gregorian months of September and October.

ఇంద్రకీలాద్రిపై శరన్నవరాత్రి ఉత్సవాలు కన్నుల పండువగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. దీనిలో భాగంగా ఆరో రోజైన సోమవారం కనకదుర్గ అమ్మవారు అన్నపూర్ణ దేవి రూపంలో భక్తులకు దర్శనమిస్తున్నారు. సకల జీవరాశికి ఆహారం ప్రసాదించే అన్నపూర్ణ దేవి అలంకారాన్ని చూసేందుకు భక్తులు వేలాదిగా తరలివచ్చారు. ఓ చేతిలో అక్షయపాత్ర, మరో చేతిలో గరిట పట్టుకుని ప్రజల ఆకలి దప్పులను తీర్చే తల్లిగా అన్నపూర్ణ దేవి రూపం భక్తుల్లో పారవశ్యాన్ని నింపుతోంది.
