A wild spring storm on Wednesday, September 26, battered parts of western Sydney with hailstones.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued severe thunderstorm warnings for a number of regions in New South Wales including Lismore, Tenterfield, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Casino and Kyogle. They said these storms were likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall which could lead to flash flooding.
