Thousands of anti-fascist protesters gathered in Berlin on Thursday, August 30, after a fatal stabbing sparked far-right protests in the German city of Chemnitz.

Anti-immigration protesters gathered in Chemnitz on the same day as demonstrations continued in the wake of the killing of a 35-year-old German-Cuban man in the city on Sunday, August 26, Deutsche Welle reported.
