About 1,000 far-right supporters gathered in the eastern German city of Chemnitz for the second consecutive day on Monday, August 27, to protest a fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old German man.
The group clashed with some 1,000 rival anti-fascist protesters. Police said several people were injured as objects were thrown from both sides.

There were reports of far-right demonstrators chasing foreigners and threatening and attacking journalists during protests on August 26 and 27.
