A heavy hailstorm passed through Prineville, in Oregon’s Crook County, on Tuesday, June 27.
This video was shot by Linda Forney, who keeps birds and pets at her Gramma Roses Keeper of Peepers business. Forney told Storyful that the hail was big enough to hurt those caught under it. “The animals tried desperately to get out of the onslaught of huge hail balls of ice,” she said. “I was in it and geez, it did hurt to get hit by one.” Credit: YouTube/Linda Forney via Storyful
